Beach Cruisers really live up to their name. Living on the coast, riding on the beach is a daily thing for me. Well, it is now. Several years ago my girlfriend at the time was trying to subtly encourage me to lose weight so she bought me a beach cruiser. At first I wasn’t to jazzed about it. Riding in the sand?, no thanks. However, I tried it once or twice and didn’t find it to be so bad. The next thing you know I’m riding the darn thing all the time. It is absolutely great. Not only does it steer fine in sand, it isn’t the difficult to power. You would think it would be pain in the butt. It’s not. In fact, there are times when I think my beach cruiser is easy to ride then my ten speed through the city traffic and on those streets full of pot holes.
